Radio Saifai 3.67

Radio Saifai has mushroomed as a web radio that aims to bring together people who have a deep emotional bond with Uttar Pradesh.Today, the UP diaspora is spread all across India and abroad making it impossible to bring people together on this scale through the means of a regular FM radio station that typically has a radius of 100-150 kms.
It was only through the advent of 3G/4G connectivity that web radio has found its most fulfilling application. A study has suggested that at least among the younger demographics over half of the typical radio listening population worldwide is now beginning to receive their radio via Internet over a mobile device such as Android or iPhone. This scenario has given radio Saifai a raison d’etre of some sorts, making it possible to bring a large number of people together. With live streaming, people of UP can connect to the radio irrespective of where they are located. Also, the reach of public service programming or public service announcements can increase multi-fold with the live streaming. Web Radio’s reach is far and wide and this is what appeals to me and motivates me to make radio saifai a platform for the youth. It has been my great privilege to be a citizen of UP who has had an upbringing in a rural part of the state, witnessing and enduring the hardships that come with such a childhood. It is thus my deep desire to bring people of this state together and contribute towards the all-round development of Uttar Pradesh through Radio Saifai.
