Pravah ICS 3.58

Pravah International Citizen Service (Pravah ICS) is a three months rural volunteering programme, funded by Department for International Development (DFID), the UK Government, led by Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), in partnership with Pravah wherein volunteers from different parts of UK and India are placed in a rural community in India to carry out community-based developmental projects with local community-based organisations.
The programme aims to bring about personal development of the volunteers, and the rural communities they are placed in, and inspire active citizenship through working on and contributing to impactful projects.

As an ICS volunteer you will –
• Work as part of a team of 20 to 30 volunteers from UK and India
• Be placed in a rural community in India
• Work on various grassroots development projects
• Live with local families in the villages
• Develop new skills for work and life
