Ponniyin Selvan Animation Movie 3.09

Ponniyin Selvan is a work of fiction, based on historical facts during the Chola Empire, 10th AD in the southern India.
The story starts with the emperor Sundara Chozha taken ill and bedridden and there is unrest in the country because of this. The story is set in motion, as chieftains of the Emperor conspire for the emperor’s cousin, Madhurantaka to succeed, whereas Prince Adityan, the most eligible to succeed the emperor is furious, when he comes to know about the conspiracy.

Vandhiyathevan, the hero of the movie is sent as a spy to the capital Tanjore by Prince Adityan to pass the news of conspiracy to the Emperor and sister Kundhavai. The young, handsome and brave Vandiyathevan enters the capital after overcoming a lot of struggle and with his smartness.
The chieftains on learning about the spy, issues an order to arrest him immediately. Vandiyathevan escapes from the fort and meets Princess Kundhavai, (heroine) and passes the news of conspiracy from Prince Adityan. Love blossoms between them. Princess Kundhavai after hearing the news of the conspiracy sends Vandiyathevan to Sri Lanka to give a message to her younger brother, Arulmozhivarman to return to capital immediately. Vandiyathevan starts his journey to Sri Lanka.

The story unfolds with his journey to Sri Lanka and his adventures with nature and wining over the rival chieftains. There are new revelations and relations being established all the time and even when you think you can predict what is going to happen, new surprises pop up.
