It is a part of the Patna railway hub and has six major stations: Patna Junction, Patliputra Junction, Rajendranagar Terminal, Gulzarbagh Station, Danapur Station and Patna Sahib Station. Patna Sahib is connected to metropolitan areas of India, by the Delhi-Kolkata Main Line via Mugalsarai-Patna route. Patna Sahib is located in Patna City in Patna district in the Indian state of Bihar.
