One Rupee Revolution 3.28

In India, around 30 lakh children live on the streets whereas 1.5 Crore children work as bonded labourers. Illiteracy is a curse on India’s dream of being into the league of developed nations. It’s ironical when we say that children are our nation’s future when half of them don’t have access to basic, primary education.
This is certainly an alarming trend that requires and demands for immediate readdress to prevent the grim scenario from getting further aggravated.
We had enough of blame games! It’s time to do something concrete and meaningful as concerned citizens of this country.

The root cause being school dropouts is the lack of affordability.
While it’s a norm in various countries to go to school, education, in India, is a privilege.
As such, our country which has a huge young population are lacking behind in terms of skills and education. It’s time quality education is provided and an initiative to empower them is taken.
One Rupee Revolution is thus a beacon of light in the darkest of caves. It believes in making a difference, by the power of a rupee. In next two years’ time, we are planning to help around 250 children. We will contribute immensely towards supporting financially unstable students in fulfilling their “Right to Education”.
