NSS Unit tries to inculcate a sense of responsibility in the students towards the society and nation. It develops student's personality through community service. The cardinal principal of NSS programme is that it is organised by the students themselves and both students and teachers through their combined participation in community service, get a sense of envolvment in the tasks of nation bulding.
