Niranthara Foundation aims at and strives as a cultural medium to strengthen our cultural foundations and to find ways to improve education in search of quality and a people - driven society. Niranthara consists of a group of enthusiastic talented young people with a social commitment and who have been continuously offering creative and socially useful programmes all across the state of Karnataka.
The clear aim of Niranthara Foundation is to construct a society based on social values, social responsibility & social equality..

For many years now, Niranthara foundation has been active on a vanity fronts such as theatre, folk arts, literature and environment with a clear vision and social commitment.Niranthara has organized many cultural, and thought provoking critical seminars. We have taken the advice and guidance of experts and specialists to actively participate in all spheres to provide a constructive permanence to them.
We have been working with great concern about water and sanitation. we have aroused awareness in the people through documentary films, workshops, poster-making camps, streetplays,publication of books and artistic exhibition stalls. We have organized Karnataka's first ever 'Jala Jatha' successfully about rain-water harvesting in Bagalkote district.
Niranthara has produced well known plays like Kusumabale by Devanur Mahadeva, Mahabhoj by Mannu bandhari,Jalagara and Kalki by Kuvempu, 'MuttisiKondavanu by P.Lankesh, Maya Mriga by Poornachandra Tejaswi,Yaro andaru by Shivarama karantha,Shivaratri and Sambashiva prahasana by Dr.Chandrashekhara kambara, Shariffa by Manjunatha Belakere, The statue of the Mahatma by K.G.Mallyas, Tea House by the famous Chinese playwright Laoshe directed by Chidambara Rao Jambe. A dance and musical drama 'Kudala Sangama' based on the vachanas of Basavanna with music by C. Ashwath has been presented by us. 90 Shows of this play in and around Karnataka. We have also presented Badal Sircar's 'Bhoma' which deals with the problems of the peasants.
We have been conducting 'Sahaja Ranga' an annual theatre training camp for college students. Every year we are touring Karnataka with Three Productions called '' Niranthara Ranga Payana''.
