Nachammai silks started its operations on 16th june,1982 with 6 employees and 25 weavers. Today with hard work of several people towards the development of the family, it is a family of 200+ dedicated weavers and 20 employees.In 1994,the ownership of Nachammai Achi silks shifted hands to Prof.V.T.Manickam Chettiar,the 2nd generation sincere entrepreneur.Currently,it is headed by Mr.M.Velan,the 3rd generation son of the family.
