Mundali is situated in Cuttack district of Odisha
Its 15 km away from Cuttack.The area is situated in the river bank of Mahanadi.A bridge named 'MUNDALI SETU' was inaugurated here by The Former CM of OdishaLate Janaki Ballabh Patnaik on 30 Jan 1996.

A great attraction for the tourist for fishing,boating,picnic parties.In winter Mundali aflutters with thousands of indigenous and migratory birds of many varieties.One can also have a glimpse of the area from the moving trains and vehicles on the road near these places. The atmosphere is just serene and undisturbed amidst the blue expanse of water on one side and an evergreen range of hills on the other.Watching the red sun set above the blue waters is a life time experience here.

The temple Sidheswar Is one above them.The temple is situated on the top of the hill.The serene ambiance, in which the temple is situated,inspires spiritual feeling among one and all.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya,Mundali,Cuttack (JNV Mundali) is a government residential school located in Mundali village,with a doctrine goal to provide good quality modern education to the talented children predominantly from the rural areas and economically challenged families.Its the only JNV in Cuttack.

Bhubaneswar water treatment plant,MUNDALI,
It is the Mundali Water Works which has the biggest capacity of MGD for Bhubaneswar.It was built in 1996.A well protected intake structure is provided and water is drawn from the intake well.

The 3rd Bn NDRF is a disaster response agency under NDMA & CISF is located in Mundali ,Odisha. The aim of locating a NDRF Battalion at Mundali is to render timely assistance to the Govt. Orissa during times of natural disasters like flood and cyclone.

Central Industrial Security Force(CISF)'s Kharavela Regional Training Centre, Mundali,known as KRTC Mundali established in the year 2002. It is located in between Cuttack and Bhubaneshwar, which is 18 Kms away from Cuttack and 32 Kms from Bhubaneshwar on Banki State Highway.RTC Mundali is presently engaged in conducting Basic Courses for Constable/GD (Male/Direct), Constable/Fire and Paramedics staff of CISF. Besides, the training institution organizes various specialized courses like PT TOT course, QRT Course and all PCC from the rank of Constable to SI/Exe.
