Mangalore Branch SIRC of ICAI 3.31

The Mangalore Branch of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is one of the 36 branches of the Institute in the Southern region and it was established in the year 1971. A magnificent superstructure “ICAI Bhawan” is Situated at padil, and has a branch located in the heart of the city at Mahendra Arcade, Karangalpady in a spacious premises hosting among others a 100-seater conference hall, reading room and fully-equipped 25 node computer lab.

Over 500 Chartered Accountants situated at Mangalore, Kananghad, Kasargod, Madkeri, Puttur, Bantwal, Kumta, Manjeshwar, Moodbidri, Suratkal, Panemangalore are affiliated to Branch.

The branch is always vibrant with activities and has been rightly awarded the Best Branch Award in the year 2006 & has also been awarded with Most Commendable Performance for two consecutive year’s i.e., 2011 & 2012.Branch is organizing seminar including National level seminars by inviting speakers from outside Mangalore for updating knowledge of the members.

Mangalore is also an examination centre for The All-India C.A. examination. Regular coaching classes are conducted at the branch for CPT and IPCC course. The computer lab of the Branch was extensively revamped recently to equip it with more machines and latest software relevant to the profession. The course on 100 hours Information Technology Training of ICAI , Orientation , GMCS is also being conducted at the Branch regularly.
