Mahesh Industrial Group ( MIG ) was founded on 15th August 1977 under the leadership of Late Shri. Bhagirathji Tapadiya a - renowned Maheshwari Enrepreneur of Pune. The group primarily aims at providing a social forum to all Maheshwari individuals engaged in Industrial and related activities to promote interaction & networking amongst them.
MIG further encouraged their involvement in activities related to social economic and industrial development of the community.
Mahesh Industrial Group has been organizing "Entrepreneurship Development Program – Aao Udyojak Bane Hum" to create awareness in the youth about opportunities in Entrepreneurship and ways to encash them, on a regular basis.
In order to provide exposure of the products of Maheshwari Entrepreneurs to the wider markets, MIG organizes periodically 'MIGEX' exhibitions , which have been acclaimed for their innovative management and coverage.
MIG has been encouraging First Generation Entrepreneurs by recognizing their outstanding achievements with awards like "Bhagirath ji Tapadiya Award for Best Entrepreneur" and "Onkarnath ji Malpani Award for Best woman Entrepreneur". It also values contribution of Senior corporate executives in nation building by awarding them ‘ Champalalji Sardai Award for Best Executive.
Exchange of Ideas & thoughts and Interaction with achievers helps MIG members to widen their perspective and develop awareness about macro level domestic & global environment.
MIG has provided a platform for leadership development and many members of MIG are also active in various spheres of social, educational and cultural life at Pune and have been contributing extensively to various organizations of Maheshwari community.
