Law Centre-II of Law Faculty, DU, was established in 1971 at Delhi University's South Campus, where it is presently situated. Three Law Centres of the Faculty, namely Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-I and Law Centre-II have 770, 924 and 616 seats respectively. The Faculty counts many eminent personalities among its alumni including a former Chief Justice of India, Y. K. Sabharwal, judges, senior advocates, cabinet ministers and social activists. The Faculty has been pioneer in introducing 3 years LL.B. degree course as well as 'Case Law Method' of teaching in India. Law Faculty is the largest law school of the country and its Library is also among the largest law libraries in the country. It attracts a large number of students from all over the country.
