village Khosa Kotla is situated 11 kilometer north of Moga city. Village has a historic gurdwara and sarover belongs to 6th guru of sikhs shri guru Hargobind Sahib Ji. Sant Baba Fateh Singh deserves all the credit for the development and renovation works in the village.

ਖੋਸੇ : ਇਹ ਤੰਵਰ ਰਾਜਪੂਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਾਖ ਹੈ। ਚੌਹਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੰਵਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਖੋਹ ਲਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕਾਰ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਫੌਜ਼ਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ‘ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ’ ਜਿਲਦ ਤੀਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ‘‘ਸੰਬਰ ਜਾਂ ਅਜਮੇਰ ਦੇ ਚੌਹਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਤੂਮਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਿਲਸਿਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦਿੱਲੀ, 1164 ਈਸਵੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਚੌਹਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਈ ਸੀ।’’
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੰਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੂਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਖੁਹਾਕੇ 1164 ਈਸਵੀ ਦੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੋਗੇ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਏ। ਰਾਜ ਖੁਸਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਖੋਸੇ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ।
