Karavaan IISER Pune 4.41

Karavaan is the national-level student-run annual cultural, science and social fest of IISER Pune. First held in the year 2008, Karavaan began as a small intra-college fest. Over the years, it has gradually grown to become a major inter-collegiate cultural festival in Pune. Funded partly by IISER Pune and a number of associated sponsors, Karavaan is steadily growing in magnitude and has attracted local, upcoming performers as well as artists of national acclaim. Their captivating events attract students from colleges across Pune as well as from major institutes across India.

We IISERites are a diverse community, with people from all over India. This is the reason that this Karavaan, we eagerly want to celebrate the emotion which we strongly relate to: the glory of India. At the same time, we aim to replace the notion that Science is beyond the grasp of the masses, by incorporating scientific values within our society and culture. Karavaan will be a major step to enhance this combination, as it will hereby be our Cultural, Science and Social fest.
We hope enthusiasm awaits in fellow voyagers on this exhilarating journey.
