Jharsa is a large village in Gurgaon Mandal in Gurgaon District in Haryana State, India. Jharsa is 2.499 km away from the Mandal main town, Gurgaon, and 9.7 km from the district's main city of Gurgaon. It is located 254 km from the state's main city, Chandigarh. It has a population of about 32907 persons living in around 8689 households. Jharsa is a very old and big village. The latter were granted lands by the last Mughal rulers. The village heroes were Ch. Galam Singh Kilhore and Ch. Bakhtawar Singh Thakran, who were hanged to death by the British government for the killing of two English officers in 1857.
