Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Calicut , a fully residential, co-educational institution established in the year 1987-88, under Ministry of Human Resource development, Govt. Of India. The Vidyalaya is affiliated to CBSE.
The Vidyalaya is located at Maniyur, which is at a distance of 11kms from Vadakara on Vadakara-Maniyur Road.The Vidyalaya has got separate hostels for boys and girls. Free food is being provided to all students.
