Islamia Teachers' Training (B.Ed.) College, Phulwari Sharif, Patna. Bihar (Estd. 1986) is a Co-Educational Muslim-Minority Institution, managed and administered by "EDARA FLAHUL MUSLEMEEN", Phulwari Sharif, Patna.lt is a body duly registered by the Bihar Govt. under Societies Registration Act.21, 1860. This college was accorded permanent recognition by the Govt. of Bihar vide their letter no. 93 dated 05.03.94 and running under Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Gaya (Bihar). The college is recognised by National Council for Teachers Education, ERC, Bhubaneswar vide their letter no. ERC/7-58.4.1/2005/2352, dated 20.07.05. "Edara Flahul Muslemeen" since its inception has been taking keen interest in the field of education. As regards the Training college, its serious concern and effort is to help the development ofthe whole person so as to be fully developed human, truthful Indian and a considerate modern.
Right education leads to libercUion and real learning is excellence of wealth to preserve peace and maintain the progress to every sphere of life. Education plays a vital role and the places where it is imparted are the right seedbeds for culture and character along with the fate of the nation, because from there come out the statesmen, scholars, patriots, scientists, philosophers and so on and determine the progress of nation.
It was a long cherised demand of the local people to establish a Teachers' Training College in this region to create an atmosphere of healthy growth of character and to maintain the culture, religion and linguistic heritage of the community by the proper use of hands, head and heart.
