The “Jewel in the Crown” of Vidarbha, INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE imparts education to undergraduate & post graduate students in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer science, Electronics, Environmental science, Forensic science, Botany & Zoology, with more than 2000 students on its roll. Besides providing the basic & research facilities in the above mentioned subjects the Institute is about to enter the new area of Biotechnology, Information technology, Bioinformatics to name a few.

Adding more to academics & research the students of the Institute have excelled in all extra – curricular activities & in games & sports at the University & State level. Every department has had the distinction of producing several meritorious students obtaining top ranks in the University & other competitive examinations. All this is because of well equipped laboratories, rich Library, Sports department & excellent devoted hardworking teachers & non teaching staff.
