INDRA PRASTHA CONVENT SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL was established in the year 1986 with only 26 students.
In the year 1986, Shri Jai Bhagwan Yadav and few other prominent educationists formed and educational society in the name of "PUNARVAS KALYAN SAMITI" and got it registered with the comptent authority. With the hard work and sincere efforts of this society the school started taking shape and earning a name in the educational circle.


In the year 1989, In the first instance the school was recognized up to middle level to the Directorate of Education, Delhi Administration. Then in year 1993 it was upgraded to Secondary level. The School continued its progress and effort and soon it was further upgraded to Senior Secondary level with the Streams Science, Commerce and Humanities (Arts) in the year 2000.

The School is afiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education for ALL India Secondary/Senior Secondary School Examinations. The first batch of the classes X Student of this school appeared in C.B.S.E. Exam in the 1995 and class XII batch in the year 2000. The school has consistently shown ascending academic results with some of our students achieving 92% marks in the Board Examinations and it also a matter of great pride that some of the students achieving 92% marks in placed in the top category of the C.B.S.E. results. All the achievements have sincere efforts of highly qualified and experienced staff and full cooperation of the parents.

The society is running the school on a plot of land measuring 4950sq. meters. Today at the turn of century, with 22 years of experience, the school is proudly stading in its new grand building. The impressive school building comprises of 53 spacey and airy rooms including School Office, Classrooms, Science Laboratories, Computer-Lab and Library.

A dynamic approach towards education in accordance with the changing needs of society and constant endeavors on the part of management and teachers have ensured maximum participation of individuals leading to excellent efficiency. The outcome is not far to seek. We have been able to excellent results in academic as well as Co-curricular fields. These praiseworthy results are also due to the fact that Indra Prastha Convent School has progressively carried out experiments in integrated education.
