Express Cheque Clearing System (ECCS) a project implemented by National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) is currently operational at 50000+ bank branches covering 1300 Clearing Houses across the country processing more than one million cheques per day. ECCS is licensed to more than 1000 individual banks in India.
