Mouni Roy(Bengali: মৌণী রায়) is an Indian television actress. She played in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev as Sati, She also played in Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq as Meera.
Education
Mouni has completed her schooling from the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Baburhat, Cooch Behar. She graduated from Miranda House in Delhi with a major in English literature before studying Mass Communication at Jamia Millia Islamia University. In her school days, Mouni was not a good actor but excelled as a dancer.
Career
Mouni has acted in many serials that gave her fame and appreciation. She has acted in serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Krishna Tulsi with pulkit samrat, Kasturi as Hivani with Jatin shah, Dance pe chance reality show tolly vs bolly, Tyohaar Dhamaaka (9x Channel) as a contestant and Pati Patni Aur Woh as a contestant with Gaurav chopra. Mouni has played the character of Sati in Devon Ke Dev - Mahadev on Life ok channel. Show represents the story of Lord Shiva, the most powerful God in Hindu culture. She was last seen in Junoon - Aisi Nafrat, toh Kaisa Ishq on Life Ok which was different love story. It was challenging for her to play the role as Meera.

Mouni Roy was also featured in Just Dance with a contestant surjit sir and Hrithik Roshan. She performed in Zara nachke dikha, also performed on various dance itmes and won the award for Best airtel dancer of the series. Apart from serials she has also acted in a film named "Hero Hitler In Love". Mouni Roy in Hero Hitler In Love, played the character of "Sahiban" with Babbu Maan.

Mouni Roy was seen as Sati in the mythological series Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev opposite Mohit Raina. Sati is the daughter of Daksh and a devotee of Lord Vishnu, moved to Shiva against her father's wishes. Raja Daksh (Surendra Pal), who is sati's father, deeply bruise Lord Shiva, manages a "Mahayagna" where the seven sages are invited.
