I-Run, An IIM Indore Mumbai Campus Mini-Marathon 3.45

">I-RUN is an annual marathon organized by the students of IIM Indore Mumbai Campus which aims to bring forward the support from the society for any social cause. It attracts common residents along with the running and marathon enthusiasts from all over the India to join hands in spreading awareness. This is an event which coincide with the mission of IIM Indore to develop socially conscious mangers, leaders and entrepreneurs. The first step in taking a stand for something is to respect your own self, take control of your health, be fit and happy, hence we believe I-RUN is the best way to connect.

This year, we are coming again with a 13K RUN and 5K family walk around the theme “Let’s Run with Her”, to showcase various issues faced by the women and girl child such as discrimination at workplace, unequal access to education, child marriage, poor health and sanitation facilities etc. in our society. By keeping this theme, we will try to create awareness about how women can show their outstanding performance, if they are provided with fair opportunities. By providing equitable prospects regarding health, hygiene, education and safety to women and girl child we will help our society to grow morally, culturally and even financially. We will depict the premise that nurturing a girl child will lead to the nurturing of entire society
