I have a full-time job on the weekdays, and like to spend my weekends either cooking at home, or experimenting with the flavors in the city or outside by continuously trying out different cuisines and restaurants. What started off as a passion, soon became a shared experience as I opened up my recipes and creations to people I knew.
Bangalore, as a city, is not short of cuisines, but it was not a difficult choice for me as to what cuisine to pick to cook. Having been born and brought up in Jammu, I am only too aware of the city's numerous delicacies like Rajma Chawal, Daal Ambal, Dum Aaloo, Rogan Joshan, Goshtaba and many more. With my kitchen, I wish to recreate and share with others that authentic, traditional taste of my city. And so, my cuisine will be majorly centered around dishes from Jammu, along with the occasional other cuisines that I like to experiment with.
Partly why this is only a weekend activity for now, is because I cook the dishes myself, and I want the meals that I deliver to be hot and completely fresh, made from the choicest of ingredients and spices that I pick myself.
