Started in October 1981 as a Juice and Pav Bhaji centre, Gypsy Corner was the first hangout joint to serve Vadilal Ice Cream in Shivaji Park. It went on to serving American fast food in 1984, with snacks like grilled sandwiches, burgers and pizzas with authentic mozzarella cheese. Later, moving on to pure vegetarian south Indian food, Gypsy Corner, is now known for its authentic Maharashtrian savouries with a taste that’ll certainly take you back to your grandmother’s cooked delicacies. It is a favourite destination for UPVAS food. Amongst its trademark dishes like Thali Peeth, Misal, Sabudana Wada and Bharli Wangi, the Mini thali is a highlight and a must-try.
