Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, Taraori, Karnal 5.1

Gurudwara Sheesh Ganj Sahib Patshahi 9th is situated in the Taraori town in Karnal District. When SRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI was beheaded in chandani chowk Delhi, no one dared to pick GURU SAHIB Sacred Head and his body. But with wish of Akal purakh, swear storm swept through the city, and under the cover of dark blanket, Bhai Jaita ji managed to escape with GURU SAHIB Sacred Head and Bhai Lakhi Shah cremated GURU SAHIB Body by setting his house on fire as public funeral would have been dangerous. A Dhobi named Bhai Deva Ram was anxious to know the well being of SRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI, When Bhai Jaita Ji reached here, He asked Bhai Jaita ji about the same. When Bhai Deva Ram ji came to know about the what had happened at Delhi, He took Bhai Jaita ji and Placed Sheesh Sahib at Place where now Bhora Sahib is situated in Gurudwara Sahib Taraori. He served Bhai Jaita ji with Langar, and asked him to take rest. Bhai Deva Ram Ji looked after to GURU SAHIB's Sheesh Sahib, And in morning Bhai Jaita ji left for Sri Anandpur Sahib.
