Whaeguru Ji Ka Khalsa Whaeguru Ji Ki Fateh

Gurmat Sidhant Parcharak Sant Samaj which has a shorter name as "Sant Samaj" Is a Sikh organization of Sant Mahapursh of the Sikh Community and the Khalsa Panth. The Sant`s (Sikh Saints or Religious Leaders) comprises of the Sikh Community which Include the Damdami Taksal, Nihang Singh Jathebandi`s, Nirmale Sadhu, Udasin Mahapursh, Nanaksar Mahapursh, Rara Sahib Wale Sant, Jwaadi Taksal (Ludhiana) etc and many more

The orginal Sant Samaj Was founded in the 1950`s when the SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbanak Committee) was about to change the mangalacharn of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and was planning to also cut out Raag Maala from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. It was the origin of this controversy which gave rise to the humble gathering of all the prominent Saints of the time. A meeting was held at Nanaksar Kaleran all the Saints at the time, the main Jathas (groups) and prominent Gianis were all called together. The total representation at the Sant Samaj was very impressive and included major groups such as Nanaksar, Damdami Taksal (Bhindranwale), Rara Sahib and countless others.

During this meeting, all attendees opposed the change, and during the course of the issue, many meetings were held to formulate means to correctly get the appropriate action brought to the person who incorrectly promoted his belief to the sangat. Over time, the controversy died down when the person accepted his mistake and all original Birs were restored in their entirety.
The prominent Sant`s that attened the meeting were
-Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (Nanaksar-Kaleran Wale)
- Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (Rara Sahib Wale)
- Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji (Damdami Thaksal Wale)
- Sant Baba Sohan Singh Ji (Singapore Malaka Wale)
- Sant Baba Hari Singh Ji (Kahapur Wale)
- Sant Baba Attar Singh Mastuana Wale
- and many more Sant`s and Jathas

As Time passed and after the Dark Shawdow of Operation Bluestar and countless innocent murders that occurred afterwards. The Sikh Sant`s felt necessary to revive Sant Samaj in order to bring back people within the Sikhi concepts and make the Patat (Non-Sikh`s) to Amritdhari Singh`s and Singhnia.
Again A Sant Samelan Was called at Gurwara Gur Gian Parkash Jawaddi Taksal in which
-Sant Baba Thakur SIngh Khalsa Bhindranwale
-Sant Baba Sucha Singh Jawaddi Taksal
-Sant Baba Sarbjot Singh Bedi
-Sant Baba Darshan Singh Dhakki Wale
-Sant Baba Paramjit Singh Mahailpur
-Sant Hari Singh Randhawa Wale
-Sant Mann Singh Pehowa
-Sant Baba Daya Singh (Dal Baba Bidhi Chand)
and many more Sant`s jatha`s from Udasin and Nirmale Sampard`s came forward and started massive Sikhi Parchar not only in Punjab but also in other states in India. The Sant`s were encouraged to go overseas to do "Parchar" (Sikh Fundamental Education about the Religion and encourage people to take Amrit) as after 1984 people from Punjab started to leave the country and started to settle outside India, in Countries Like England, United States, Canada mostly but also in many European countries as well.

Sant Baba Thakur Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale was elected to be the President of the Sant Samaj and served until they passed away in 2004, in which they did massive parchar of Sikhi not only in all major parts of India but also Overseas as well. After Baba Ji, Sant Baba Sarbjot SIngh Bedi was elected as the new President had has served as the President until 2008 when he Stepped down from the position because of their health issues in which it became difficult for them and appointed Sant Harnam Singh Khalsa as their successor.

Sant Samaj has been tackling issues`s like Dera Vaad in which people now have started to do worship of living people instead of Gurbani, by doing katha kirtan samagams and bringing people back into SIkhi.
Sant Samaj has also had a firm stand on the Nanakshahi Calendar in which they have opposed the Nanakshahi Calendar put forward by the SGPC and have demanded that the Puratan (original Old Calendar) be left the way it has been from the time of Guru Sahib.
Also Sri Dasam Granth Sahib is the bani of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, some people have been falsely alleging that Dasam Granth wasn't written by Guru Sahib and shouldn't be given respect as bani.Sant Samaj has challenged these people many times and proved them wrong countless times.
Various other Kaumi Masle have been raised by Sant Samaj from time to time for the better of the Sikh community and only sole purpose to bring The Sikh Panth together and bring more and more people into Sikhi
