As this place is connected to number of histories, First of all it says about Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, who once in his life was resting over here, but there was no shade of a tree he found to sit under and rest, but there lived a huge snake who expanded his hood to provide shadow to Baba Nanak. And the next history that belongs to this place is about the Saints from the earlier centuries. those Saints worshiped God over here and also practiced hymns alongside the banks of River Satluj, which once flowed at this place. one night, the Saints were absent from this place as they went to some other place for practicing hymns, the river showed a rise in its water level and lead to a flood and washed away everything that came in its way, this flood also washed away the huts and holy books, and the Saints cursed the river to flow miles away from this place and so said happened too, as today river Satluj flows approximately 13 miles away from this place. Next history connected to this place is about Sixth Guru of Sikhs i.e. Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji. During those times here lived a very furious and huge Lion who ate anybody passing through his way. As one day Guru ji travelled this place and met the people, they explained him about the furious Lion, and then the owner of Miri Piri i.e. Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji went into the forest where the Lion lived, and as he reached infront the Lion, it attached Guru Ji, and this forced Guru Ji to pull out his Sword, and he cut the Lion into two pieces, and made the soul of the Lion free from birth and death issues. The other history is connected to Shaheed Singh's who fought the battle of Sirhind alongside Baba Banda Singh Bahadur and got martyred over here fighting the battle. And over Here exist the Samaadh's of the martyred Singh's whiched are everyday bathed worshiped with respect. the last story attached to this place is about the Anjaan Rukhs(Unknown Trees), which are only one's of their kind and the kind is unexplainable and unexplained till date. this tree's in the times of British rule were countless, countless in the sense was that no one was able to count them, as on counting the number either exceeded or decreased. During the British rule, some of the White men tried to count the tree's by tying the bridles of their horses to the tree's, and this lead the Super Naturals to show the powers and turned the white men and their horses upside down as a punishment for counting the tree's.
