Azamgarh is a town in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is headquarters of Azamgarh Division, which consists of Balia, Mau and Azamgarh District. Azamgarh is situated on the bank of Tamsa River (Tons).
SkyNext Half Marathon (SNHM) an annual half marathon foot-race is going to start in Azamgarh,India. Established in 2016, it is both an elite runner and mass participation event.It is an SNHM-certified course and is listed as a Gold Label Road Race by the SNHM.The 2016 event will attracted around 10k runners who competed in one of the four races.
The event will include the half marathon of 10 km, the 7 km Great Azamgarh Run, a 3 km run for senior citizens.
The half marathon is the elite runner race, while the Great Azamgarh Run will attracts the majority of participants overall.The inaugural edition 2016 will be total prize money of 500 US$ for elit runner only.The prize for the winners of the men's and women's race will $250 each dollars in 2016.
