Govt. Polytechnic, Bhaga, Dhanbad earlier known as Mining Institute Bhaga (estd. In 1905) is under the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Jharkhand is unique in its own kind. This Institute was made exclusively for mining technician. Now it is imparting diploma in Mining Engineering, Computer Application / Engineering, and Information Technology courses and from the next academic year we are going to add two more courses such as Food Technology and Chemical Engineering. The Institute has track record of producing quality Engineers who served the industries and other fields with great honour and dignity.
