Gelato factory was opened on 3rd january 2015 in Auroville producing artisanal Italian ice cream, i.e. GELATO. On 26th may 2016 we have inaugurated our second parlor in 337, Mission street Pondicherry. The 2 shops are similar, ambient is a cozy and typical European bistro offering ice cream, great espresso, extraordinary teas, fresh juices, breakfast, salads and sandwiches. But the speciality of the house is GELATO FACTORY. Here you can enjoy the authentic Italian ice creams and sorbettos. It is 100 % natural, extremely low fat and healthy. In Auroville you can see the production from the window. AC, wifi and a bit of music > relax and enjoy ! The business is run by run by Francesco Carboni and Silvia Latini from Rome (Italy).
