Gajner is a town located 37 kilometers from the city of Kanpur in the Kanpur Dehat district of the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.HistoryGajner is very ancient town. It was founded by Kushwaha (Maurya vanshi). Gajner is a connecting link of Kanpur, Ghatampur, Musanagar and Pukhrayan. it is a main crossing of all above places.GeographyThe land comes in Doab region of Uttar Pradesh. Some parts here are rugged and are not suited to cultivation and agriculture. Gajner is 129 m above sea level. Holy river Yamuna is near about 17 km south of the city.ClimateClimate is very tropical and in summers it reaches to around 49.5 C.There is very scanty rainfall here.Summer season : Summers are hot and high temperatures are to be expected.
