Indian agriculture is at an exciting phase of transformation - from a way of life and livelihood to Agri Business. New channels created by changing consumer preferences, accelerated growth in food processing industry, retail revolution and access to international markets through globalization process have created many opportunities for Indian Food & Agri Business sector. Tapping these opportunities requires high quality technical and management professionals.

While Indian agricultural universities are able to provide technical professionals, there is a huge gap in the availability of management professionals – who understand rural context and agri business management. To meet this huge demand for agribusiness professionals, SVVR Educational had in 2008 established Food and Agri Business School (FABS) at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

Our dream is to make FABS the intellectual hub for innovative ideas and programmes in Agri Business Management and play a singnificant part in the transformation of Indian agriculture in to Food & Agri Business sector.
