Approximate 50/60 lakhs corneal Blinds in India.
Additions of blinds every year -2 lakhs
Need of cornea every year- 2 lakhs
From 125 crore population of India , last year Cornea collection was just 47000,
means around 23/23500 people donate their eyes.
