Easwari Engineering College, a division of Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Group of Educational Institutions for higher learning, was instituted in 1996, with the approval of the government of Tamil Nadu and AICTE, New Delhi. The college is affiliated to Anna University Chennai. The college functions under the aegis of the four-decade old Valliammai Society. The society was founded for promoting the cause of education by Dr. T. R. Pachamuthu, an academician and educationist.The college offers seven undergraduate and seven postgraduate programs covering Engineering and Technology, Computer Applications and 'Management'.
