Dargah Syed Hussain Sharafuddin Shahvilayat 4.48

Syed Husain Sharafuddin Shahvilayat (RA) came to Amroha on Wednesday the 29 June 1272 (2nd Zil Hija 670 Hijri) on the direction of his spiritual mentor from Wasit a small town in Iran. He was guided to stay at a place wherein he is served with Mango and Rohu (fish species). It was at Amroha where he was served with both the things simultaneously and he named this city as Amroha—combining Mango (Hindi/Urdu name as Aam) with Rohu fish. In the vicinity of this dargah live scorpions don’t bit, which is a living miracle.
सय्यद हुसैन शरफुद्दीन शाहविलायत साहब 29 जून 1272 को जब इस शहर में पहुचे तो यहीं के हो गए. शाहविलायत साहब के पीर ने कहा था के उस शहर में अपना ठिकाना बनाए जहाँ खाने में दो चीज़ें एक साथ मिल जाएँ, आम और रोहू मछली. ऐसा ही हुआ और शाहविलायत साहब इसी शहर के होगए. आपने इस शहर को नाम दिया अमरोहा.
