City Spidey is an app and a website that provides news, information and services to you, your neighbours and your residential community.Yes, it's a hyper local online platform, accessible through your phone, desktop, laptop and tablets. The interactive easy-to-use tools help in smart management of RWAs and connect neighbours (never mind if you don't even know them). One can also take up issues that concern you with your RWAs and the local authorities.

In fact, City Spidey harnesses the power of mobile internet and social media to build interactive, socially aware and responsible communities. Here's how.

STAY INFORMED

Hour by hour updates: Log onto City Spidey and the home page will keep you updated on news and information about your RWAs, your neighbourhood and the local administration. It can be addictive, we warn you.

Get heard: We bring the neighbourhood issues to the notice of the relevant authorities for quick trouble shooting.

Showcases talent, achievements and initiatives: An IIT Topper? A Sa Re Ga Ma Pa singer? Received an award? Doing something cool? Green initiatives? We showcase achievements and positive stories about residents and their neighbourhood. Go ahead, inspire Delhi NCR.

Realty check: What are the rentals of various Noida properties? What's the capital value? Just click (or touch) your way to an entire bank of information with relevant high definition images.

PLATFORM FOR COMMUNITY BUILDING

Form neighbourhood groups: Love cycling? Or are you into music? A social worker maybe? Md. Rafi anyone? Whatever your interest is, you can form a group. Find similar like-minded neighbours, organise activities, express opinion, discuss a topic, raise issues about the community - neighbourhood cannot be friendlier than this. Who knows, the bathroom singer in you could just be on the stage soon! A big hand, please.

Quick fix

Get the word out quickly about a reliable car mechanic, domestic help or a flower vendor. Organize car pools, if you like. Neighbors can exchange books, share recipes, and so on.



Announce your initiatives: Post a picture of your weekend voluntary work by joining plastic free neighbourhood initiatives floated by NGOs. And oh, post a picture of the dish you cooked over the weekend!


SMART MANAGEMENT TOOLS

Convey RWA notices real quick: Manage RWAs effortlessly with intuitive tools from City Spidey. Save ink and stationary (and save trees!) by sending out notices electronically. The Notice Board facility in the app is just for that. It is faster too. A resident can write his comments.

Complaint redressal

Leaking taps, seepage, electrical short circuit, the works! You can lodge a complaint online. The management could track the complaints and City Spidey would continue to send notifications till the problem is solved. For residents, it’s an easy and transparent service delivery and complaint redressal system.

Book services:

Get immediate access to services linked to maintenance fee you pay to your RWA. Also those services which you pay as an individual resident. Order for a Golf Cart if you live in an upscale apartment. Or book a community hall for a Satsung or a b'day party. Why go physically to do all of these?

OPINION POLLS

Consensual decision making: Installing a new security system in your RWA? Or is it going to be ice-cream or cup cakes for kids at the RWA sports meet? Big or small, serious or playful - through the City Spidey Opinion Poll, seek out opinions, if you're an RWA administrator, from individual residents before arriving at a decision. Your decision would never be disputed, we promise.

Get neighbours to participate actively: City Spidey aims to be a one-stop-shop for all inter and intra-community initiatives. It prompts residents to participate equally and actively in self governance.

Resident welfare rises to a new standard: RWAs are a formidable administrative force in local governance. City Spidey, running on latest digital tech, deletes the chaos and the confusion while dealing with resident welfare. No such assistance is currently available for the RWAs. City Spidey is a first!
