Casio India Co. Pvt. Ltd. (CIC), a 100% subsidiary of Casio Computer Co., Ltd, Japan, is responsible for marketing CASIO products in India manufactured by its parent company. CIC has been operating in India since 1996 and has established the distribution channel as well as the brand for most of its products. Casio Computer Co., Ltd, Japan, the parent company of CIC is engaged into manufacturing and marketing of various consumer products throughout the world.

Casio Computer Co. Started its operations way back in the year 1952 with the basic product of calculator and has introduced many firsts in various product categories through its innovative R&D and manufacturing techniques.

The company has a corporate motto of "Creativity and Contribution and it is its constant endeavor to create new innovative products which are useful as well as makes life more efficient and provide value for money thus making a significant contribution to the society.

Casio was launched officially in India with a Joint Venture Company with Bharti Telecom Ltd., India with 40% equity share, Mitsui & Co., Ltd, Japan, with 9% equity share and Casio Computer Co., Ltd a major 51% equity share on first of February 1996 to manufacture and market Casio Brand Radio Pagers in India.

Casio's commitment to Indian market was reinforced by taking over the equity shares of both the joint venture partners and making the joint venture as a 100% subsidiary of Casio Computer Co., Ltd., Japan.

Today Casio India Company is being managed by dynamic staff strength of around 60 people under the leadership of expatriate Japanese Managing Director.

Casio India is currently involved in sales & marketing of Handheld Calculators, Desktop Calculators, Scientific Calculators, Printing Calculators, Data Banks, Digital Diaries, Label Printers, Pocket Viewers (PDA), Wrist Watches, Digital Clocks, , ECR ( Electronic Cash register ) and EMI ( Electronic Musical Instrument )
