Canvas Educational Organisation 2.97

Canvas is an organisation that seeks to develop and nurture the political interest of the youth of our great nation through various events such as Model U.Ns, Debate Rooms, Youth Parliaments, Moot Courts, summits and conventions. We also plan to attempt to better the public speaking and overall communication skills of students involved. We feel that since much of the youth is left ignored in the political process of our country, the amazing ideas they have, to combat current problems are never considered. We have tried to develop a way for them to voice their opinions and ideas, and to be involved in the functioning of our country, and this is it. Our name represents the piece of parchment that has sparked revolutions throughout history. A stroke of a paintbrush, and a sliver of an idea that doesn't fit with the status quo, changed the world. And that is what we aim to do, except with a microphone, a few loud words, and some great ideas.
