Chef Anirudh Nopany from Le Cordon Bleu London, and food enthusiast Anvesh Ram have teamed up, to bring to you "Brik Oven"! Gourmet wood fired pizzas, Soft serve sundaes and delicious Milk Shakes come to Bangalore’s iconic Church Street.

From big jars full of candy visible on the kitchen shelves, to fresh potted plants of basil, the idea is to take you through a gastronomical joy ride, igniting your senses to create excitement about food.

Imagine the joy of licking a softy ice cream, or drinking a thick slurpy shake along with a tangy, tasty, salty & crunchy pizza. Only one word comes to mind - YUM!

Having trained in french cuisine in London, and then worked at Olive Beach, Anirudh is a master at European food, understanding that every ingredient matters. The tomatoes are sourced straight from an organic farm on the outskirts of Bangalore. The dough is home made every morning, and the ice creams use fresh Nilgiris cream, none of that packaged fake stuff. From the prosciutto to the mozzarella, every ingredient is the best that can possibly be sourced.

As one walks into the restaurant, the sight of the gigantic dome, the pizza oven, with a steady big wood fire in its belly, is a mesmerising one. The heady smell of basil, oregano and slightly charred crust makes one salivate in anticipation of the delicious fare to come.

With Anirudh and Anvesh doing the cooking themselves, the Brik Oven is a playground for them to experiment with delicious recipes, and a place to create a dynamic fun gourmet experience for people of all ages to savour.
