A decade ago we gave birth to Eastern India’s first specialty centre dedicated to the women and children of Kolkata.

The Centre conforms to International Standards of excellence in quality of care and its state-of-the-art infrastructure. It attends to the critical needs of both the mother and her offspring.

A child needs specialized care. The range of children’s diseases, medical management and nursing must be addressed differently from that of an adult, making specialized focus absolutely necessary.

Our registrars and visiting consultants have had international exposure and also address the emotional and psychological well-being of the patient.

SERVICES PROVIDED AT THE HOSPITAL ~

OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT
The department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology treats high-risk pregnancy cases at par with International Clinical norms. Pre-existing health conditions, such as high blood-pressure, diabetes and miscarriages are taken care of promptly by consultants, thereby ensuring further complications do not occur. Post delivery, the neonate is transferred immediately to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. A team of highly experienced neonatologists takes over immediately, thus saving a precious life. Many high-risk pregnancies are therefore, primarily, referred to us because of the pediatric unit.

Our Paediatric Department has the following salient features –

NEO NATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (NICU)
The unique Neonatal Intensive Care unit is the most sophisticated of its kind and has state-of–the-art dedicated neonatal ventilators, incubators, multi-parameter monitors and baby warmers imported from Germany. Great attention has been given to even the smallest details such as the cold halogen examination lights, which do not burn the newborn babies’ skin. This unit offers true Level III care to the new born baby with 1:1 nursing care.

The Hospital takes great pride in having launched the VN 500 High Speed Ventilator and Workstation. The VN 500 promises to usher in a new era in Neonatal Care.

SPECIAL CARE BABY UNIT (SCBU)
Level II support is provided by the Special Care Baby Unit and includes precision infant warmers, photo therapy equipment, accurate fluid and oxygen delivery system. Every baby is given 1: 2 nursing care.

NURSERY
Care is extended to the fragile infants with a great deal of compassion and patience. The nursery with its warm, vibrant colors is a happy, cozy and cheerful place. The facility is offered to those mothers who do not wish to avail of rooming in.

PAEDIATRIC AND NEONATAL SURGERY
The department of Paediatric Surgery provides comprehensive surgical care to children. A gamut of operations of varying complexities have been performed with success.

PAEDIATRIC SUB-SPECIALTY
Paediatric Dermatology, Neurology, Cardiology, Surgery and Respiratory Ailments are attended to.

OUT PATIENTS DEPARTMENT (OPD)
The clinic has leading and renowned specialists attending to all ailments related to women and children. This includes Paediatric Dermatology, Neurology, Cardiology, Psychiatry, Respiratory Ailments, Pre/Post Natal Care and Physiotherapy. Consultations are also available for male patients for specific ailments.
