Established with the aim to serve the community with the best possible medical care, Bangalore Nethralaya now operates completely equipped to cater to major ophthalmic sub-specialities including Glaucoma, Cataract, Retina, Refractive surgeries, Orbit & Oculoplasty, and Paediatric Ophthalmology.
In addition to our regular operations, we are also fully committed to providing our services to communities that do not have easy access to quality eye care. Eliminating avoidable blindness continues to be a problem in the Indian healthcare system. In a developing country like India the services of the government is usually insufficient to meet the health needs of the entire population because of challenges like the scale of epidemics, a rapidly growing population, inadequate infrastructure and other socio economic factors.
Comprehending this, Bangalore Nethralaya was founded to also function as an alternate health care model that can supplement the efforts of the government in locations where health care is deficient or underprovided.
