ASME IIT ISM Dhanbad Student Chapter 2

ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) is a not-for-profit membership organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, career enrichment, and skills development across all engineering disciplines, toward a goal of helping the global engineering community develop solutions to benefit lives and livelihoods. Founded in 1880 by a small group of leading industrialists, ASME has grown through the decades to include more than 140,000 members in 151 countries.
Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Dhanbad, was formally opened on 9th December 1926 by Lord Irwin, the then Viceroy of India. Since its inception to present it has flourished into a multi-disciplinary, nationally and internationally acclaimed premier institution of higher technical and scientific education.
ASME IIT(ISM) Student Section was established in ISM in 2011 with a sole aim of working hand in gloves with ASME to elevate academic excellence and promote long lasting relationships with global engineering community by fostering an environment inclined towards quality research, industrial collaborations and professional conferences.
