Anjuman Khairul Islam Urdu High School,Girls, Kurla 3.46

1) The school is located 1.kms from Kurla station west, Mumbai, India. AKI Urdu High School Kurla was established in 1961 & caters to students belonging to the lower income group. Parents belong to the labour class & 30% mothers work as domestic maids, 70% children come from slums & disturbed and broken families. AKI is a girl’s school form class V to Class X comprising of 6 hours. The total strength of the school was 825 in 2010-2011.

2) The School is dedicated for the upliftment of the under privileged children of the community. The School caters to educating students following the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Mumbai Board syllabus to students belonging to the lower & below lower income group.

3) The sole aim of our parent organization, Y & M AKI is to serve the orphan & under privileged children of the community & has several educational Institutes established all over Maharashtra.
