Ahun-Kaithal 3.82

Ahun is a panchayat village in the Dhand tehsil of Kaithal district of Haryana state,India. Earlier it formed part of the Kurukshetra and Karnal district. Ahun is 36 km by road northwest of the city of Karnal, 40 km by road southwest of the Kurukshetra city and 12 km by road southeast of the village of Dhand where the nearest railway station is located. The populatio of Ahun was 3510 in 2011. The primary landowning group is the Ror community. Ahun is relatively well developed and often thought of as a town. The infrastructure is well developed,including nearby power station.
