Aavaran is a store conceptualized by two former finance professionals with a mission to preserve the Indian arts. The store specializes in 'Indian Artisanal Fabrics' like Bagru, Bagh, Mashru, Ajrak, Malkha, Maheshwari, Chanderi etc. Each of these fabrics belong to a specific part of the country embracing techniques like tie and dye, hand blocks and also various prints like floral, stripes and chevron among many others. We, at Aavaran, transform these beautiful traditional fabrics into western wear like crop tops, maxis, dresses, skirts and palazzo pants along with Indian wear such as kurtis and saris.
