The Israel Nature & Heritage Foundation (INHF) is a voluntary association founded to help the Israel Nature and Parks Authority (INPA) in its important tasks of protecting Israel's nature, landscapes, and heritage.

Nature Protection
The INHF facilitates the INPA's work in protecting Israel's biodiversity, conserving marine habitats and their native species, as well as protecting landscapes through assistance to the INPA's Open Space Project.

Heritage
The INHF is responsible in part for the conservation and preservation of cultural heritage sites, focusing primarily on sites which hold universal significance to all cultures and religions including UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Masada, Tel Megiddo, and others.

Education
At the heart of the work of the INHF is the goal to increase awareness of and advocate for the protection of nature and our environment. The foundation supports the INPA in its educational programs to promote nature and heritage protection, a large portion of which focus on outreach to children and adolescents, as it is at a young age where awareness towards these goals can have its greatest impact, and perpetuate to generations to come.
