"גרעינים: יוזמות חינוכיות על הקרקע" הוא ארגון אידיאליסטי, החותר למציאות של גילוי הקודש במרחבי חיים חומריים, כחלק מחיי תורה כוללים, כפי שהיא נלמדת בבתי המדרש של תלמידי הרב קוק. הארגון יוזם חיבורים יצירתיים בין בתי המדרש לבין עשייה בשטח על פני מרחבי ארץ האבות, תוך התמקדות באזור שילה.

הארגון מבצע פעילויות המשלבת בין עשייה ולימוד תורה באופן בו העשייה היא ביטוי ללימוד והלימוד עצמו משתבח בהיותו קשור לעשייה ויצירה. כל פעילויות הארגון נועדו בראש ובראשונה להשפיע ולעצב את המשתתפים עצמם ולכן גרעינים הוא ארגון חינוכי, בלתי פורמלי.
רעינים מותאם לעבודה עם בחורים יהודים מרקע מגוון, בגילאי 18-35, על פי רוב, תלמידי מכינות קדם-צבאיות וישיבות. בנוסף, גרעינים מתמחה בפעילויות לדוברי אנגלית בשלבים שונים של תהליך עלייה לארץ.

פרויקט הדגל של גרעינים הוא "גרעין שילה". גרעין שילה היא תוכנית חינוכית בת מספר חודשים המיועדת לעולים ממדינות דוברות אנגלית. התוכנית משלבת בין לימוד תורה, עבודה חקלאית ומעורבות קהילתית. המגורים ולימוד התורה נעשים במסגרת ישיבת שילה תוך שילוב של תכנים ייחודיים למשתתפי התוכנית.

Garinim: Educational initiatives in the outdoors

Garinim is a first-of-its-kind idealistic initiative that bridges spiritual worship and Torah studies with the corporeal world and lifestyle – as bestowed upon us by the heritage of the righteous Rabbi Kook. Our main focus is to create a spiritual bond between places of Torah studies and manual labor and activities on the land of our Forefathers, particularly in the Shiloh region.

Garinim features unique activities where physical work and studying of the Torah are integrally linked to one another. Under this holistic approach, working the land and other such outdoor activities become essential for Torah studies, and vice versa. As such, Garinim offers a non-formal educational experience that shapes and influences the personal development of its participants in productive ways.
Garinim works mostly with young English-speaking Jewish men between the ages of 18 to 35 who are either considering or had made Aliyah.

Garin Shiloh is Garinim's flagship program that blends Torah studies as part of the Shiloh Yeshiva with agricultural work and community activities in the Shiloh region. The program extends over several months and offers room and board and specially tailored creative and extracurricular activities to enhance the Israel experience and participants' personal fulfillment.
