History
Wicklow School of Dance (previously Wicklow School of Ballet) was established in 1980 by Stephanie Murphy, B.Phil (Hons), ARAD, AISTD. In June 2014 the school changed hands, and is now run by Megan Christie.

Wicklow School of Dance provides a nurturing, positive environment for students of all ages to learn ballet. With a teaching ethos rooted in positive reinforcement and reflective learning, students gain solid, progression-focused training. This student-centred programme creates the opportunity for dancers to progress through the internationally recognised RAD framework.

Students attending an RAD school benefit from teaching accredited at the highest level. The RAD is one of the world’s most influential dance education and training organisations and is recognised internationally for the highest standards of teaching and learning. Following the RAD syllabus and examination structure, all classes are taught by an RAD trained and qualified ballet teacher.
