27 years ago a group of people decided to run a games day, a games day that was so popular it became a convention. Quarter of a century later UCC students continue to celebrate gaming and the gaming community in all their glory by hosting Warpcon.

Warpcon happens in University College Cork. Based mainly in our student centre but spread across our campus.

Warpcon Offers:
• RPG's, with a range of systems being played.
• Wargaming. Hosting large Warhammer tournaments and Warmachine/Hordes games
• Cardgaming. With a speciallized card gaming area offering Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments and draft.
• LARPs
• Special Guests.
• Traders. Representatives from Irish based gaming shops selling boardgames,RPG books, wargaming miniatures etc.
• Board games. We provide a board game area where con-goers have access to the entirety of UCC WARPS' board games collection and where there will also be tournaments run throughout the weekend in various games
