Male, female, young or old. It doesn't matter. Everyone needs to start somewhere, so why not start today :)?. The hardest part is starting, but once you start it will become easier. Consistency is the key. Make sure you get quality not quantity with your programs, make sure they are specific to your goals. Look no further. I like to practice what I preach. I like to mix up my programs, keep the body guessing, this also keeps training interesting. As Louie Simmons says "You go to war to kill, not to be killed". I really like this quote by Louie, I live by this when I go to compete at competition. I make sure I put all the hard work in the gym, whether this is volume or intensity, to get the most out of my training during the season or off season, then when it comes to competition its show time. This allows me to show off all the hard work that has been put into the gym onto the stage for others to see.

I believe technique is everything, a person must learn to walk before they can run. A lot of people have that mentality that they need to be lifting heavy regardless of form. This my friend is called ego lifting, if you continue this journey with horrible form, this path will lead you to a sudden stop along the road as a result injuries will be picked up. This will put a person a few steps backwards rather than allowing them to progress.
